An Eventful Saturday!

Just last Saturday, our YEC was not only competing in the Foo Mee Har Challenge Trophy (Bowling) 2014 but was having a yummy-good time at Ayer Rajah CC's BBQ Night later on that evening as well! (:

We did not win any trophies but at least we had fun cheering each other on! :) PLUS! We each received a golden medallion as a token of participation! How awesome! Oh, and some of us even won some Capital Land vouchers from the Lucky Draw! Share leh! Haha!

Right after the bowling tournament was the BBQ Night at Ayer Rajah CC. Just in time for dinner! Loads turned up as we BBQed together as a community! It was a casual gathering with good food, games, performances and karaoke for all before the CC goes upgrading later on this month. We can't wait to see all the new facilities!

(Note: The CC will continue to remain open to all during the course of the renovation.)

ITE Edusave Awards 2014 CDC-CCC Bursary & Scholarship Presentation Ceremony

The ITE Edusave Awards 2014 CDC-CCC Bursary & Scholarship (Tertiary) Presentation Ceremony was held just yesterday and our YEC members were down to facilitate the discussion session as well as to interact with the youths of Ayer Rajah.  CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL AWARD RECIPIENTS!  

Before the award presentation, we had a little discussion and sharing session with the awardees and they've all given really good and valuable points! A pat on the back to the brave ones who presented on behalf of their fellow neighbourhood friends! We've heard you and we really appreciate everything you guys have shared with us! :D

And of course, the part everyone has been waiting for! The award presentation with Ms. Foo Mee Har as the the Guest of Hornor. You've done your parents proud, guys! We can totally see it on their faces! Well done! 

We hope to see all you awesome people again some day soon! (:

Roadshow @ Community Sports Festival 2014

Were you down for this year's Community Sports Festival held at Jurong West Stadium?

If you were, you might have probably met one of us there!

Mr. Sunshine was really, REALLY hot this morning but that didn't stop us from sharing about our RECORD BREAKING & FUN Youth Club in Ayer Rajah CC with those of you who were down at the festival! *Ahem. Okay, maybe the heat DID eventually get to us but it sure was nice meeting YOUths out there today! We hope to see you guys again real soon! Have a great week ahead! SMILES! :D
